CASC Card
Acoustic Cable Monitoring Sensor
Description
The CASC card (Acoustic Cable Monitoring Sensor) is a P4 daughter card that detects very high-energy events such as steel wire breaks in structural cables.
Based on a network of acoustic sensors with high-sensitivity accelerometers, it samples continuously at 125 kHz and uses advanced algorithms to detect, locate and characterize acoustic events.
Ideal solution for monitoring stay-cable bridges, cableways, elevators and any critical structure using load-bearing cables. Waveform reconstruction enables detailed post-event analysis.
