Geronimo

Instrumented structural monitoring via guided elastic waves

Geronimo

Description

Detect wear and damage in your high-stakes structures with Geronimo, our guided elastic wave emission/reception system for defect detection.

A non-destructive inspection method based on guided elastic waves, Geronimo enables continuous monitoring of your structures' health during operation.

Compact, rugged enclosure integrating an arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) and a synchronous multi-channel receiver, powered by the latest-generation PEGASE board for control via Python or C++ API.

Main features

Non-destructive inspection

Continuous monitoring via guided elastic waves

A non-destructive inspection method based on guided elastic waves. Geronimo enables continuous monitoring of your structures' health during operation, detecting wear and damage in high-stakes structures.

High-performance emission/reception

200V peak-to-peak AWG and 16-bit acquisition

The integrated arbitrary waveform generator delivers up to 200V peak-to-peak over a 1 to 200 kHz bandwidth. On the receive side, up to 8 parallel channels with 2 MHz 16-bit acquisition and a 0 to +60 dB adjustable preamplifier let you capture even the weakest signals.

Embedded API

Seamless integration with your IS

With its API embedded on a web server, Geronimo integrates seamlessly into your existing information system. You get full, precise control over measurements while being able to define your own test protocol and retrieve data on a remote server.

Chainable enclosures

16, 24, 32+ channels by chaining

To increase the number of acquisition channels (16, 24, 32...), Geronimo enclosures can be coupled together. An integrated GNSS chip (GPS, Galileo...) enables synchronization between distant enclosures with around 50 ns precision, for synchronized tests across the entire sensor network.

Powered by PEGASE

Expert Platform for Wireless Embedded Applications

A product powered by the latest generation of PEGASE board. Customizable scenarios, autonomous data transmission to a server for post-processing. Control via Python or C++ API over Ethernet or WiFi.

Field mobility

Compact, rugged enclosure

Compact, rugged enclosure for synchronous emission and acquisition of guided elastic waves. Mains-powered by default, with an optional removable battery for deployments on remote sites.
